A writing group can be a powerful way for increasing accountability and structure for academic writing. Many of the ideas herein build from Paul Silva’s How to Write a Lot: A Practical Guide to Productive Academic Writing. For the Middlebury College Faculty Writing Group, the following aspects made our group successful:
